Nearly Home Again

Well, we got back to Australia on 1st November. I spent 2-3 days in Perth, and am now in Melbourne, having arrived last Thursday early am.
Tomorrow morning I am climbing in the car and heading back to my home....so holiday will really be over

Almost done

In London at present. About to go on a tour of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Castle tomorrow.
Then I head back to Norfolk, more or less to pick up my friend, and we fly home on Saturday.
And that's 7 weeks gone!
Will have to start saving for my next escapade then :D

Cromer

Almost the end

We have been in Norfolk since last Sunday night.
Had a gorgeous 9 days in Ireland before arriving here
There is only a week of our holiday left, so I am heading back to London for a few days,
during which I will do some more research, and fit in a day trip to the Cotswolds.
Haven't been able to find on computer over here where I can download my photos ot put them on a stick
so will have to wait till we are home and do it retrospectively.
It's raining today, but we have been extremely fortunate with the weather.
Hope you are all well

London, France and Colchester

our travels so fat

Well we have covered a bit of territory since I last posted. Not always easy to access a computer!
We spent out first week in London, where I spent the entire week on genealogy matters....it was wonderful.
The second week we headed down to Beaumont de Lomagne, which again was on the ancestral trail. We spent 5 wonderful days down there.... saw around the country-side a bit as well.
Back to London, where we spent the night before heading to another place on the ancestral trail....Colchester. The oldest recorded town in Britain. We are here for 2 nights, then back to London briefly, before a trip to Wales. This will be the last of my ancestral trail.
Till next time
